Following on from Scott's and other's use of reducer in top hose I have fabricated extensions to the water elbows (50826 and 50829). This was really because the aluminium rad mad in the SA had larger (32mm) outlet pipes. So the pipe used was thick wall pipe of outside diameter 32mm. Much thought was put into the dimensions and complex shapes required to make up the angles and double elbow. This was because there is very little space around the tube between the chassis and the starter motor on the nearside.

Re: Straight water hose
This change of hoses was prompted by noting that the gearbox change shaft and lever had been rubbing on the bottom of the lever. Yet another thing noticed when viewing from under the lifted car. Then Joe spent a hours trying to fit new hoses but they needed a reducer and so slipped off. No such problem now and fitting can be done in 10 minutes.
