Re: E-Bay 7hp for sale
I have spoken to the vendor as I successfully bid for some earlier items. He is reluctant to scrap but needs the space. He seems well disposed to interested parties - I wish I lived nearer Rugby (well for now anyway)!
Apparently when he had a Curlew for sale a couple of years back, some 'Jowett people' (his words) came but they seemed only to be interested in the engine and chassis numbers so he was not impressed.
He says he also has some (suspension?) springs. These could be tricky to identify as I believe there were minor - but significant - differences.
Any advice?

I posted a scan of a free-hand drawing on pre-war springs in the pre-war section on August 31st 2011. There was a query about Bradford springs being the same as pre-war springs.
