Hello,

I am a young German guy and I have bought a Jowett curlew saloon long from 1936 last week.
In the next three to five years I want to repair (restaurateur) this car!
I am sorry for my english, I know just the school English from a German school, but I hope you understand me.
I have many questions about my Jowett, were can I get the answers about technical informations and reparations the Jowett? I studied this page and found a Forum, but not the right!
Before I can can open a Theme I have to registrate me, is that right?
What is the price I must pay to registrate me.
It is per a month or per year, and how much?

Thank you for your answer now.
And many greetings from Germany!

Marcel - Welcome to the Jowett Car Club - for membership there is a form on the home page of the website that you print out and post to the UK in order to join the club. I think the car that you have purchased is the cream & green one that was offered at auction several times in the UK - it then was placed for sale on E Bay and sold to a German buyer and more recently has been offered for sale in Germany.

We can offer help in getting your Jowett back on the road - any questions / missing parts just let us know and we shall try and advise / locate the parts. We have a national rally every year when a lot of the cars & owners get together - you may find it useful to visit the Uk when this is happening - that way you can talk owners of cars that are the same of yours - they can advise on the best routes / suppliers for restoration & parts.

I own a 1937 8 HP which I am restoring - some mechanical parts are the same as on your car - any questions just ask and we shall try to help.

Good Luck

Chris
