Jowetts have a sporting tradition, whether it be doing hill climbs, racing, or rallying.
There are cups awarded to those who have promoted the marque through competition,
and the Club can also assist by contributing to entry fees for those who put their
Jowetts 'on the line' in a competition. This year the Club is involved in the Inter
Register, some of whose events were published in the April Jowetteer. Jowetts of any
age are likely to be eligible so why not contact Peter Holden or Richard Keil and have a go? Also,
Richard Gane is trying to find some Jowetts to compete with him this year, particularly
at Donington in August. So if you have a competition licence or would like to get
involved please contact him or the Competition Secretary.

There are also many local, national and international events that would love
some Jowetts to enter. They range from scatter rallies, treasure hunts, routes between
nice hotels with an element of sociable competition, to the timed events such as hill
climbs, sprints, races and international classic rallies such as the one John Blanckley is
doing from Liege to Rome and back.
The important thing is for us to get our Jowetts showing their capabilities and
for you to enjoy the achievement. There is a lot of support available should you have
