Remove gear stick knob?

Post by Keith Andrews »

I want to take off the knob and put on the reconditioned box I have ready to go in with the new engine in a couple weeks....
I also have a good fitting rubber boot (non std) I would like to use.
I do not want to damage the knob or the chromed screw in the center as they are in near new condition.

Im spraying with CRC, not in a hurry cause I realy do not want to mark the chome screw or break the knob....It is in top condition, the best one I have.
