Our end-of-season lunch/AGM was held at the end of October - it would have been nice to see more faces, particularly at the AGM, but all those who did attend had a good feed as always, and the meeting afterwards went smoothly.
There was no major change to the committee, the only amendment being that Douglas Rawson (our representative to the Executive Committee) was elected as a full committee member. Everyone else remains in place for another twelve months.
Christmas is fast approaching and we are all busy with the usual round of shopping, etc. so it just remains for me to wish all members, on behalf of the committee, a Very Happy Christmas and a Healthy and ‘Happy Jowetteering’ New Year.

Now that the Valentine Lunch is a pleasant memory it is time to look forward to the
next chance for a ‘good nosh’…
Your were forewarned in January, given full details in February, and now that it is
March - have you notified your menu choice for the Dales Run/Falcon Manor, Settle on
April 9th, yet? ALL JCC members and friends are welcome. Contact David Midgley by
‘phone, e-mail or (if you’re quick) snail mail before you forget …. again! Note - you’ll
have the extra hour of daylight by then, so no excuses, and your Jowett will really
appreciate its outing…
The following Sunday (16 April) will be the Easter Egg Run organised by Eddie
Farrell. Diary the date, and let Eddie have names (so you’ll get an Easter Egg).
Our February noggin’n’natter was fairly well attended, but it would be nice to see
some new faces. The proceeds from that raffle were excellent - still working hard for
NJW 2006. Next one - Tuesday 7 March, Shoulder of Mutton, Northowram - see you
then.
