This is a good video to prove the need for Winter tyres. I wondered why that courtesy BMW was so bad in the snow last year!

You may also notice I am planning on swapping the Suby for a Skoda Octy. I visited this forum to see views on the 7 speed DSG box. Now I wonder if we could get a DSG to mate with the Javelin?

Since the Octavia has 5 stud 16" PCD112 and offset ET 50 wheels I might try them on a Jowett....

Using low rolling resistance (but bad in all other ways) tyres as fittings to the 'green' cars to achieve the mpg is becoming more widespread. Something for Top Gear to shout about!
Wish we had had this sort of info and choice for all the competitions we did in the Jowetts!
