I have just bought a Javelin 1953, l had a 1951 Javelin in 1958, sixty years ago, it was my first car. I have been full circle, with about 80 cars in between. I have been a serious collector and still have eight cars, not all classics, but the newest is a Mercedes 2003 CLK. Being a complete petrolhead, I have three Mercs, 300 D, 500 SL 1995 Miglia Mille, 240 CLK, Volkswagen Beetle fuel injection with a/c RHD, Alfa Spider 1983, Porsche 964, Fiat 500, Smart car and now the Jowett. I will join the JCC when I get the car, probably in the next fortnight.
